from director Mario Van
Peebles starring Wesley Snipes, Ice T, Chris Rock, Allen Payne,
Vanessa Williams, and Judd
Nelson.
Not
only did this movie do well at the box office, it helped elevate a
musical and fashion culture to mainstream status. (Just take a look
at last week’s Super Bowl halftime for proof of this.)
